Every title in the Heritage Tavern is carefully evaluated before being added to the library. We have a two-step curation process you can read more about below.
The collection is built for parents educating their children at home, for men sharpening their craft and character, for women stewarding the home, and for anyone who wants to read books that respect what has come before rather than tear it down. We take the time to choose books that do not push modernist liberal ideals, and that, taken together, give a fuller picture of who we are and where we come from.
New titles arrive each week. The collection grows slowly on purpose.
A book enters the Tavern only after both stages pass. Nothing makes the shelf on looks, popularity, or publisher reputation alone.
A privately hosted AI model, trained on what to look for and what to reject, scans every submission first. Books with heavy modernist, liberal, or Marxist references, behaviors, or framing are filtered out before any human time is spent. This pass is fast and catches most rejections within minutes.
Surviving titles are then read and approved by a trusted member of the Heritage Tavern organization. This is the preferred method, and the human step is final. A book only earns its place on the shelf when a real person has held it, read enough of it to judge, and confirmed it does not push modernist, liberal, or Marxist ideas or behaviors.
We rely on volunteers to keep this review process moving. As the Tavern grows, we will open applications for new reviewers. If you are a careful reader with sound judgment, we will want you on the team.
